Eight Years of Multiplying the Good with NBC4

For eight years, NBC4 and Monica Day have multiplied the good across Central Ohio – shining a spotlight on volunteering and its impact.

Through Summer of Giving and Season of Giving, they’ve connected thousands of viewers to meaningful service, strengthening nonprofits serving youth, seniors, and families throughout our community.

Looking Back at THE 2025 IMPACT

• May: Community Housing Network
  Volunteers planted and prepped garden beds to kick off the growing season for Community Housing Network residents.
• June: Columbus Diaper Coalition
  Volunteers sorted and packed 8,000+ diapers for over 300 local families in need with the Columbus Diaper Coalition.
• July: Children’s Hunger Alliance
  Volunteers assembled and loaded 8,540 meal boxes to support children facing hunger with the Children’s Hunger Alliance.
• August: Proyecto Mariposas
  Volunteers created over 100 friendship bracelets to help Latina students feel confident and supported at Proyecto.
• November: Boys & Girls Club of Central Ohio
  Volunteers packed 500 Thanksgiving food boxes to help launch ClubsGiving and provide holiday meals for families across the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Ohio.
• December: NNEMAP Food Pantry
  Volunteers helped bring holiday joy to more than 1,500 children by supporting families at NNEMAP’s Holiday Shoppe.
• December: WISH
  Volunteers adopted 2,000 seniors across Columbus and delivered over 5,000 gifts.
